Quarterback Club Meeting 8/05/2010

There will be a Quarterback Club Meeting 6:00 PM on 8/05/2010 at the Football Field. It is very important for ALL Football Parents to attend. We are having cleanup day 8/7/2010 at the football field. We need everyone's help. This year we are having a Raider Day on 08/14/2010 at the football field. This event will take the place of the annual Kickoff supper. Come to the meeting for all details.

Volleyball @ 11:00 am

Senior Casual (Khaki & White) 12:00 noon

Varsity Cheerleaders @12:45

Varsity Football @1:00

Individual pictures will be taken and proofs will be sent home at a later date for parents to order from. This will also be your opportunity to purchase an ad in the football program for a business or with your child's picture. The ads are 1/8 page $25.00, 1/4 page $40.00, 1/2 page $60.00 and full page $100.00.

QB Meeting Notes from 06/03/2010

Each Player must sell two program ads or a sign. The forms are on the right side of blog.

We need workers for a 8u Softball Tournament that will be held at Good Hope Park and Rec June 12, 2010. Tournament starts at 9:00 AM. If you can help that day please contact Diane(256-347-0180) or myself (256-338-5812).

MSU Football Camp

Bus will be leaving from Daystar Church Parking lot at 6:30 am June 13 and will be returning June 15 around 4:00 PM

Your Child may need to bring $15 for Fuel, but the QB club is still trying to work it out to cover that expense as well.

Here is a list of items your child will need to bring for MSU Football Camp

Individual Camp Needs

* Pillow & Twin Sized Sheets

* Football Cleats & Tennis Shoes

* Practice Shorts/Shirts

* Girdle/Underwear/Socks,etc.

* Towel & Washcloth

* Toothbrush, Soap, etc.

* Alarm Clock

* Helmets(Lineman Only)

* Jersey (Lineman Only)

* Footballs (Qb's and Kicker Only)

* Money for snacks and Souvenirs

QB Club Meeting

There will be a QB Club meeting tomorrow June 3rd at the football stadium at 6:00 PM. We need everyone to try to attend. We need help getting program ads sold. If your child is going to the MSU Football Camp June13-15, it is imperative that you attend for details of the trip and accommodations. Any questions please let Diane or myself know.

Update on Golf Tournament and Other Important Information

Congratulations to Johnny Harris, Jerry Bartlett, Andrew Cofer , and Eli Marty for winning the Golf Tournament. To give everyone an update on Golf Tournament we cleared $841.00. Thanks to all who came out and helped with this event. We are in need of fundraising ideas. If you have, any ideas email them to ghsquarterbackclub@gmail.com and we will compile a list and decide on some at the next meeting to get approved.

We need every ones help selling Program Ads and Signs. On the left of the screen, you can see the forms for each. If anyone has any questions, you can contact either Diane 256-347-0180 or myself at 256-338-5812 or email me at shannonhill58@gmail.com

The next Quarterback club meeting will be June 3 @ 6:00 PM at the Football Field so mark it on your calendars.
